Dear Prospective AIA Member:

Thank you for your interest in joining the American Institute of Architects, a professional membership organization. When you join AIA, you join at three levels: AIA Long Island, AIA New York State and AIA National. An outline of your dues obligations follows with an explanation. A separate list of key benefits of AIA members is enclosed.

Complete the enclosed application form.
Enclose your check in the amount applicable below made payable to AIA National. Membership dues are for the year 2003. All membership renews as of January 2004. Your dues are distributed as follows:

First Time Members	Dues Structure
AIA Long Island Chapter	$ 50.00
AIA New York State	$ 25.00 – 1^st five years
AIA National	$ 91.00
Total	$ 156.00

Reinstate Members are members who have lapsed their membership.

Reinstate AIA Members	Dues Structure
AIA Long Island Chapter	$ 50.00
AIA New York State	$ 41.40
AIA National	$ 91.00
Total	$ 172.40

Note:
$10.00 of the dues is for PAC. If you do not want to contribute to PAC, send a certified letter to the chapter office for a refund of the $10.00

Include a copy of your current professional registration.

Return all of the above to the AIA Long Island Chapter, 499 Jericho Turnpike, Mineola, NY 11501.
