Chris Cooper is an Associate Partner at SOM with nearly a decade of experience in mid and large scale projects. His re-cent work includes the award-winning and LEED CS Gold certified 7 Word Trade Center and the Time Warner Center in New York City; as well as projects currently under construction such as the Lotte Super Tower, a 275,000 sm, 555-meter-tall mixed use tower including retail, office, hotel, and observation deck; 101 Warren Street, 1,000,000 sf mixed use de-velopment featuring luxury condominiums, rental apartments and retail space; and a 625,000 sf campus expansion pro-ject for John Jay College of Criminal Justice. He is currently working on two mixed-use towers in Boston and New York City.

The speaker, Kevin Stover, PE, is a Commercial Program Consultant with the Green Building Initiative, and works with the Green Globes™ green building assessment and rating system, including promotion, coordination, and technical consultation with current and potential users of the Green Globes tools. Stover also manages an initiative for higher education institution’s schools of architecture and engineering to use Green Globes in the academic setting. Mr. Stover joined the Green Building Initiative approximately 1 ˝ years ago after completing a 30 year career in engineering design; construction engineering and management; and facilities engineering and management with the Indian Health Service (IHS), an agency of the Federal Department of Health and Human Services.
