About The Event

Writing uncovers issues and ideas which may not at first be evident, making new ideas not only comprehensible but relevant and interesting. Writing encourages the pursuit of clarity, cultivates an analytic approach to the understanding which is an essential tool in the architect’s mental tool kit. Good writing fosters clear thinking, and better writing engenders better thinking. (Berman, 2020)

Effective writing helps architects and designers win new projects.

Effective writing is essential for communicating the value of your work to the public, colleagues and to the community one serves. Learning how to sharpen writing skills increases clarity in and strengthens descriptions, new business proposals, inspection reports and communication used to promote yourself and your profession.
