AIA Long Island Women in Architecture (WIA) is accepting submissions for the 2026 WIA Inspire Student Design Scholarship Competition. The competition is open to recent graduates who earned a degree in architecture by June 2026. 

The Committee is proud to welcome new women into the architectural profession and celebrate their achievements as a designers and future collaborators. This scholarship recognizes the Knowledge, creativity, and understanding of space they have developed throughout their architectural education.  

Please submit your thesis or your fourth-year design project for consideration by 5:00 pm on SEPTEMBER 4th, 2026. There is no entry fee.  All winning entries will be recognized at the Long Island WIA Design Summit and featured on the WIA website and social media platforms.
